Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Phantom Works (PW) has an exciting opportunity for an Advance Compute Cluster Team Manager for a PW proprietary program. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team building next generation, state-of-the-art capability. This role is contingent on a future contract award and will have the option to sit out of Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO.
A successful candidate will be a strong leader who is passionate about technical execution, continuous improvement, and people development. They will also have familiarity with development, integration, and production of hardware and software, as well as knowledge and experience with Multilevel Security Networks and Multi-Core Processing Systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages team members performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
- Mentors and coaches all levels of engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders and engineers.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Provides specific guidance to team members to ensure effective performance.
- Builds relationships to gain support and commitment from others, promotes ideas with enthusiasm and conviction.
- Forecasts resource needs and hire/develop appropriate personnel to meet project and daily operating requirements.
- Responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Experience as a technical lead for an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with or around fiber optics.
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
- Experience with Ruggedized COTS 3U/6U Processors.
- Experience developing Multilevel Security Multi-Core Processing Systems.
- Experience interfacing with NSA C2 & National Cross Domain Strategy Management Office.
- Experience with electronic systems engineering development and integration of complex systems using MBSE tools.
- Knowledge of Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA).
- Experience interfacing and presenting data to upper-level management, Program Managers, and Military customers.
- Experience with VITA Standards.
- Experience with JIRA.
- Experience with Cameo / MSOSA.
